The Geographical location of Bahawalnagar is Latitude 29.9969 & Longitude is 73.2512.Government Poultry farm Bahawalnagar was established in 1978 to provide eggs on subsidized rates. Rearing of birds mainly comprises to produce Poultry Eggs and Poultry Meat.

- Demonstration of rearing / breeding practices for rural poultry promotion
- To conduct research trials on different aspects of poultry management in different climatic zones of Punjab
- To impart training on rural poultry production
